RailHope Austria was founded in 1988 under the name of Gemeinschaft gläubiger Eisenbahner Österreich GGEÖ. In April 2012 we changed our name to RailHope Austria.

We are a non-denominational community of Christians at the railways in Austria. Our work is supported by voluntary donations.

We offer employees pastoral support for difficult personal or professional problems. We advise individually, confidentially and free of charge.

We encourage an authentic life according to biblical values such as credibility, charity, giving and forgiving. In this way, we support a corporate climate characterised by personal responsibility, appreciation and trust.

We connect with Christians at the railways worldwide through regional and supraregional meetings with RailHope International. We promote the community through repeated prayer meetings and through an annual leisure weekend, where we use the opportunity to talk about doubts and hope.

We want to bring the unconditional love of our Lord Jesus Christ to all our colleagues. A life in personal relationship with our Lord and Saviour.

We believe that God hears our prayers. This frees us from burdens, gives us strength for life and hope for the future.

We want to live our faith in everyday life.

We want to advise, shape, connect and inspire.
